You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in a distributed environment using Java and Python, while collaborating with a highly technical team and leveraging AI-assisted workflows to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend/software engineering experience.
• 5+ years with Python building production-grade backend systems.
• Strong experience with Java.
• Hands-on AI/LLM-based application development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.
• Develop distributed systems with databases, APIs, queues, and data pipelines.
• Own features and services from design to monitoring and optimization.
• Build production-ready systems focused on reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to translate requirements into tech solutions.
• Improve system performance, scalability, and efficiency across the platform.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring code quality.
• Participate in architectural discussions and key technical decisions as the company scales.
• Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and standards.
