Job summary

Abstra is hiring a Salesforce Tech Lead for LATAM with 5+ years of Salesforce experience. You will drive high-quality, secure, scalable Salesforce solutions across front-end and back-end, including LWC, Visualforce, batches, and integrations. You will mentor others and enforce best practices in a fast-growing nearshore environment.

Location: 100% remote for LATAM, working hours aligned to US Central Time. Excellent USD compensation and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of Salesforce experience.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Limits and design patterns.
• Object Oriented paradigms and appropriate complexity.
• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Architect domains) are a plus.
• Experience with modern SDLC tools (Git, ANT, scripting languages, repos).
• Experience with Agile development (Scrum).
• Excellent business-level communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Think in business problems and code simultaneously.
• Familiar with LWC Communication Models and Shadow DOM.
• Support junior developers to grow through reviews and collaboration.
• Familiar with Flow and low-code solutions.
• Understand Salesforce Security and approval processes.
• Defensive programming and test-driven development / test coverage.
• Know OO and Enterprise Software design patterns (Factory, Unit of Work, Separation of Concerns, façade, decorator).
