AgileEngine is seeking a Mid-level QA Engineer to test a SaaS web application through functional, regression, integration and usability testing. You will create and maintain test cases, test REST APIs, and verify UI/back-end interactions while logging clear Jira reports.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manual QA for SaaS web apps (functional, compatibility, usability, integration).
• Solid understanding of Agile software development.
• Basic knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, and Postman or similar.
• Ability to identify root causes of bugs for frontend and backend.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual functional, regression, integration and usability testing of a SaaS web app.
• Create, document and maintain test cases and checklists for existing and new features.
• Test REST APIs and verify UI/backend integration.
• Identify root cause of bugs and log clear Jira reports.
• Participate in sprint planning, QA estimation, demos and retrospectives.
• Communicate testing status and blockers to the team across sprints.
