Bold Business is seeking a Python Automation Engineer to build and run AI agent systems, integrating with CRM, ATS, and ERP. You will ship production-grade Python code and collaborate with US-based teams across APIs, events, and data flows.

The role emphasizes fast iteration, strong debugging, and clear communication, with remote work from Latin America and compensation tied to delivered systems.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years of backend, automation, or AI that ran in production.
• Production LLM APIs with tool calls, rate limits and failures.
• Python code that others can maintain with tests and CI.
• REST and webhooks with idempotency, retries, timeouts.
• SQL beyond SELECT *; Postgres is a plus.
• You read logs and design for failure as the default.

Responsibilities

• Build Python agents that behave as a system, not as 14 clever prompts.
• Wire them to APIs and webhooks with deduplication.
• Collaborate with CRM, ATS, and ERP teams; ensure APIs actually work.
• Debug production and trace failures to tool calls or prompts.
• Log decisions, tool calls, and costs; alert before finance.
• Sit with users, observe usage, and iterate on the product.
