AgileEngine is seeking a Python Backend Developer to extend the backend of an internal developer portal and dashboard, using AI coding tools daily. You will design and implement robust API-driven features, integrate diverse databases, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

A strong Linux foundation and collaboration across teams are essential. You will work with Snowflake, PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, and modern web frameworks while leveraging AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT to accelerate development and

• 4+ years backend development in Python
• Experience with FastAPI/Django/Flask or similar
• Demonstrated use of AI coding assistants in daily workflows
• Proficiency with Git, branches, PRs and CI/CD
• Linux/Unix command-line and scripting basics
• Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB databases
• Understanding of RESTful API design and integration

Responsabilidades

• Develop and extend the internal developer portal backend
• Build robust Python backend supporting core features
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation and testing
• Integrate app with Snowflake, SQL and NoSQL databases
• Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines for automated tests and deployments
• Navigate Linux/Unix environment to run builds, scripts and logs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Ensure code quality via unit tests and code reviews
