Sezzle is seeking a curious, driven Product Operations Intern to join the Rewards team. You will own receipt scanning quality, work with product, engineering, design, and data teams to ensure accurate, fair validation, and help shape the next iteration of the feature.

The role blends operations with a strong product focus and data-driven decision making. Ideal candidates are pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree, with interest in fintech, rewards, and scalable product operations.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required; candidates must be comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication.
• Interest in consumer fintech, rewards and loyalty programs, or how products run at scale behind the scenes.
• Structured, logical mindset and ability to turn patterns into rules, fixes, or recommendations.
• Effective written and verbal communication for bug reports and non-technical summaries.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day quality of receipt scanning submissions and apply validation rules consistently.
• Identify edge cases like unusual receipt formats, retailer quirks, duplicates, and signs of abuse; document them for scalability.
• Provide engineering with actionable feedback, bug reports, reproducible examples, and improvement suggestions.
• Maintain a prioritized list of improvements ranked by customer impact, fraud risk, and cost; assist product planning.
• Track fixes through backlog and monitor status, ensuring improvements hold and regressions are flagged.
