Job summary

Alignerr is seeking experienced postsecondary Economics instructors to help evaluate and improve AI systems that reason about economic concepts. This is a fully remote, hourly/task-based contract role that fits around your existing schedule, with 10–40 hours per week.

You will design and review questions and scenarios used to train AI, assess AI-generated content for accuracy, and provide expert feedback to strengthen economic reasoning in model outputs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time experience teaching economics at the postsecondary level.
• Strong command of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and applied economics.
• Ability to articulate and evaluate economic reasoning in written form.

Responsibilities

• Design and review economics questions and scenarios used to train AI systems.
• Assess the accuracy, clarity, and depth of AI-generated economics content.
• Provide structured, expert feedback to improve economic reasoning in AI model outputs.
• Apply real-world teaching experience to validate concepts, identify gaps, and catch edge cases.
• Work independently and asynchronously — no meetings, no fixed hours.
