Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers in Mendoza to build, evaluate, and improve AI-generated code, helping train AI systems to think like real developers. This is hands-on engineering work at the frontier of AI development — not theoretical, not bureaucratic, and not boring.

This fully remote, flexible contract role offers 10–40 hours per week, with independent, asynchronous work and opportunities to influence how AI writes, understands, and reasons about code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in one or more languages listed.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to explain technical decisions in plain language.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimize code across languages and domains.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and best practices.
• Identify bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
• Provide structured, detailed feedback explaining why code works — or doesn't.
• Design challenging coding prompts and edge-case scenarios to stress-test AI capabilities.
• Compare and rank multiple AI-generated solutions based on engineering quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule.
