Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation for desktop and mobile apps, alongside hands-on manual and exploratory testing. You will build robust regression suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and collaborate with development and product teams to ensure software quality across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled QA, test data management, and maintaining fast, reliable tests in a globally distributed team with remote work

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or process.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
