Job summary

AgileEngine in Mendoza, Argentina, is seeking a Network Engineer to maintain and improve secure enterprise network connectivity across global operations. You will design, implement and support LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure in physical and virtual environments.

Must have 6+ years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco and Juniper equipment, IPsec VPNs, TCP/IP, routing, switching and network segmentation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years designing and supporting enterprise LAN/WAN.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco and Juniper equipment.
• Experience deploying firewalls, switches and wireless infra in physical and virtual environments.
• Strong TCP/IP, addressing, subnetting, routing and switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT.
• Hands-on IPsec VPNs setup and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose network issues using captures, logs and connectivity tools.
• Lead network incident resolution and preventive improvements.
• Experience in a 24x7 international org (US/EMEA) & SOX-regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support enterprise LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches and wireless infra across physical and virtual environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot secure VPN connectivity, including IPsec tunnels, authentication, routing and firewall policies.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, latency, packet loss and availability issues.
• Maintain network segmentation and secure access controls with security teams.
• Monitor network health, investigate alerts and plan improvements.
• Escalation point for incidents; coordinate troubleshooting with vendors and teams.
• Plan and execute network changes and post-change validation.
• Manage device lifecycle, firmware upgrades and documentation.
• Collaborate with systems and engineering on requirements and projects.
• Maintain diagrams and procedures; mentor junior staff.
• Define enterprise network strategy for global operations incl. remote sites.
