Job summary

Prometeo Talent is seeking a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) to join a U.S.-based client focused on marketing effectiveness measurement. The role emphasizes translating large-scale consumer data into actionable metrics and clear executive summaries.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and Python skills, a good eye for numbers, and the ability to present findings to stakeholders in English. Open to recent graduates through mid-level professionals across LATAM.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills including joins, aggregations, and CASE WHEN
• Proficient in Python data manipulation and pandas workflows
• Solid English communication for stakeholder summaries
• Experience cleaning and structuring messy text fields
• Familiarity with basic ML or statistical models (scikit-learn/statsmodels)
• Understanding of relational DB design and data normalization
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and execute SQL to extract data from relational databases and cloud warehouses.
• Develop and validate ML or statistical models to reveal consumer insights.
• Process and aggregate raw data to compute core metrics (penetration, market share, trends).
• Maintain clean data tables and dashboards for recurring reports.
• Review outputs and ensure data integrity before sharing insights.
• Segment data and isolate cohorts using filtering techniques.
• Parse and categorize unstructured text data.
• Translate data results into clear summaries for English-speaking stakeholders.
