Bitfinex is seeking a Transaction Monitoring Investigator to safeguard platform integrity across fiat and crypto transactions. You will analyze alerts, assess unusual activity, and mitigate risks using a risk-based approach within the Compliance team.

Qualifications

• Experience in the compliance field within the industry.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC/CTF policies, laws and sanctions.
• Understanding of blockchain technology and related CAMS/CBP designation.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement transaction monitoring algorithms to detect AML, TF, sanctions and other risks using a risk-based approach.
• Analyze and investigate alerts from the monitoring system for fiat and crypto trades, deposits and withdrawals.
• Assist the Manager in building reports identifying ML, TF and sanctions anomalies for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with AML Investigators and product teams to address fraud and money-laundering risks.
• Continuously enhance monitoring controls and ensure adherence to KYC/AML/CTF policies.
• Liaise with teams to verify information and escalate matters to management as needed.
