Bitfinex is seeking a Transaction Monitoring Investigator to safeguard the integrity of our platform by identifying and mitigating financial crime risks across fiat and cryptocurrency transactions. You will analyze monitoring alerts, investigate unusual activity, and collaborate with AML Investigators, Product teams, and Compliance leadership to escalate high-risk cases.

Qualifications

• Experience in the compliance field within the industry.
• Solid understanding of AML/KYC/CTF policies, laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and crypto compliance tools.
• Ability to source and understand documentation in multiple languages.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement transaction monitoring algorithms to monitor AML/TF/sanctions risks using a risk-based approach.
• Analyze alerts from fiat and crypto trades, deposits and withdrawals to mitigate risk on the platform.
• Assist in building periodic reports identifying anomalies for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with AML Investigators, Product teams, and Compliance leadership on escalations.
• Ensure adherence to KYC/AML/CTF and sanctions policies and participate in process improvements.
