Angel City VA Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Scribe to work remotely with our clinical team. You will document patient encounters in real time, ensuring accurate medical records and supporting efficient workflow.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of medical terminology, experience with EHR systems, and excellent listening and multitasking abilities. A high school diploma is required, with a Bachelor’s in health sciences preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s in health sciences preferred.
• Experience in a medical or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and typing (60 WPM minimum).
• Excellent listening, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work accurately in fast-paced environments with discretion.
• Commitment to patient privacy and professional ethics.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately document patient history, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans during live clinical visits.
• Transcribe verbal notes and update EHR with precision.
• Review and edit medical documents for completeness and consistency.
• Assist with coding and billing documentation under provider guidance.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to streamline documentation processes.
• Track and manage patient follow-ups, referrals, and test results as needed.
