Job summary

Mercor is recruiting for a fully remote contractor role from LATAM, focusing on building workflow software for a live product. You will own end-to-end areas, handle server-side logic from Azure SQL up to the API, and craft React and TypeScript screens that sit atop the data layer.

You will work with an AI-first delivery approach, review code diffs, and ensure four to five features are delivered each sprint. Strong English communication and experience with fixed-scope sprints are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building full-stack web applications and releasing them to production.
• Experience learning unfamiliar codebases and conventions before changing them.
• Hands-on work on workflow software with roles, approvals, queues or state machines and audit logs.
• React, TypeScript and SQL on Azure, including schema design and migrations.
• Daily use of AI coding tools with tests and CI behind it.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Experience delivering in fixed-scope sprints with branches, code review and feature flags.

Responsibilities

• Join a team building workflow software for a client live product; add new workflow features while existing ones run.
• Work on server side from Azure SQL database up through the API, plus React/TypeScript screens on top.
• Direct AI tools, review diffs line-by-line and decide what merges are approved.
• Deliver four to five features per two‑week sprint and own one area end-to-end without breaking live features.
