AgileEngine is seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to help design and scale a platform used by enterprise procurement teams. You will work across React and Ruby on Rails to transform wireframes into production features, collaborating with product, data science, and design to solve complex problems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Rails, SQL, HTML/CSS, and a strong Agile mindset, with leadership potential and a focus on performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Rails/Entity/Spring or similar MVC framework.
• 3+ years SQL databases, e.g. PostgreSQL.
• 3+ years HTML/CSS and web UI styling.
• 3+ years turning wireframes into features.
• Experience with Agile and adapting to changing requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills with leadership potential.
• Performance mindset for client/server optimization.
• GitHub for version control.
• Experience in fast-moving environments with on-call rotations and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale a platform used by enterprise procurement teams.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and design to turn wireframes into production features.
• Own frontend and backend features with React and Rails.
• Establish and follow best practices, tooling, and processes to improve development efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotation and communicate project status to stakeholders.
