Linuxconfig is an early-stage medical AI company building a real-time surgical copilot to aid surgeons in the operating room. The role covers backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and front-end interfaces with ownership from week one.

You will collaborate across teams to turn research into production-grade software, implement CI/CD, testing, and contribute to medical-grade documentation while operating remotely in LATAM.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience, senior candidates should bring significantly more.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern front end framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experience building or integrating APIs and backend services.
• Strong fundamentals in debugging, testing, asynchronous programming, and version control.
• Comfort working with Git and Linux based development environments.

Responsabilidades

• Ship backend services and APIs powering internal tools and the deployed medical device platform.
• Build and maintain data pipelines connecting devices in the operating room to cloud processing and diagnostics.
• Turn surgical video, medical imaging, and AI model outputs into engineers’ and researchers’ interfaces.
• Move research prototypes into production quality software with tests and clear documentation.
• Drive testing, CI/CD, and containerization practices for reliable releases.
• Partner with computer vision, ML, and design teams to turn research into working software end to end.
• Support development practices aligned with medical-grade regulatory standards.
