Job summary

HireLago is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to design, build, and optimize email programs that drive engagement, retention, and revenue for a global client network. You’ll own campaigns from strategy and segmentation to copywriting, design coordination, deployment, and performance reporting.

This remote, international role requires creating smart automations, advanced segmentation, compelling copy, and rigorous QA.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in email marketing.
• Hands-on platform experience (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot) for automated flows and campaigns.
• Strong copywriting skills with conversion focus.
• Proficiency in email analytics and performance interpretation.
• Understanding of deliverability and list management best practices.
• Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and GDPR compliance.
• Strong attention to detail with QA before deployment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute email campaigns including promos, automated flows, newsletters, and lifecycle sequences.
• Build and manage email automations (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, re-engagement).
• Develop segmentation strategies for targeted, personalized content.
• Write email copy and collaborate with designers on templates, ensuring mobile responsiveness.
• Manage email list health, suppression, and deliverability monitoring.
• A/B test subject lines, send times, content, and CTAs to improve results.
• Analyze and report on open rate, CTR, conversions, revenue per email, and unsubscribes.
• Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other regulations.
• Collaborate with content, paid media, and product teams to align with campaigns.
