Job summary

Tether is hiring a senior DevOps specialist to architect, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with a focus on test-driven deployment and IaC practices. You will automate builds across web and mobile platforms, containerize apps with Docker, and optimize native CMake-based pipelines on Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience architecting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions at scale.
• Strong proficiency in test-driven deployment methodologies and automated test suites.
• Expertise in containerization using Docker with image creation and registry management.
• In-depth knowledge of C++ build systems, specifically CMake, with optimization of native pipelines.
• Advanced Linux system administration and networking skills including shell scripting and VPN/configuration.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD automation for iOS and Android.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and management of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Implement test-driven deployment systems with automated testing and monitoring.
• Containerize applications and microservices with Docker and manage deployment pipelines.
• Develop cross-platform build pipelines using CMake for web, desktop, and mobile.
• Automate end-to-end release processes including tagging and signing.
• Define and manage Infrastructure as Code to provision scalable infra.
• Collaborate with dev, QA, and ops to troubleshoot deployments and improve reliability.
• Enhance observability and monitoring to ensure deployment health.
