Job summary

Smartrecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Data Migration Lead to oversee end-to-end planning and execution of a data migration program for a global automotive manufacturer.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, define the migration approach, and manage risks to ensure a smooth transition to the target system. The role requires strong experience in data migration methodologies (extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation and loading) and experience leading large enterprise programs.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a data migration lead or team lead in large-scale programs.
• Strong knowledge of data migration methodology: extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation and loading.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams.
• Ability to define migration controls and risk management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of data migration activities
• Ensure data is accurate, complete, and ready for use in the target system
• Coordinate cross-functional migration teams across workstreams
• Define the data migration approach, methodology and quality controls
• Identify, assess and manage migration risks and issues
• Ensure a smooth and reliable transition with minimal disruption
• Report migration status and progress to senior stakeholders
