Smartrecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Data Migration Lead to manage a global data migration program for one of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers.

This 100% remote, full-time role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, defining the migration approach and controls, and reporting progress to senior stakeholders. You will ensure data accuracy and readiness in the target system (S/4HANA preferred), manage risks, and drive a smooth transition in UTC working hours (9:00–17:00).

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading data migration programs at scale.
• Knowledge of data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation and loading.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams.
• Ability to define migration controls and risk management strategies.
• Experience with ERP migrations (S/4HANA preferred).

Responsibilities

Required Skills

Proven experience as a Data Migration Lead or Team Lead in large-scale enterprise programs

Strong knowledge of data migration methodology : extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation and loading

Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams

Ability to define migration controls and risk management strategies

Experience working in S/4HANA or similar ERP migration programs (preferred)

Intermediate to advanced English — interviews and daily work conducted in English

Availability to work in UTC timezone (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
