AgileEngine is seeking a Mid-level Data Engineer to build and maintain dbt pipelines and Snowflake data marts behind customer-facing reporting, spend analytics, and AI features.

The role requires solid dbt experience, ingestion/orchestration tools like Airbyte or Prefect, 3+ years in production data pipelines, strong SQL/Python, dimensional modeling, and Snowflake or similar cloud warehouse, with upper-intermediate English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics or data engineering on production pipelines.
• Solid dbt experience: modeling, tests, macros, incremental models.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Data modeling fundamentals: dimensional modeling and data marts.
• Experience with a modern cloud warehouse (Snowflake).
• Familiarity with ingestion tooling and orchestration (Airbyte/Prefect).
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt pipelines, data marts, and warehouse models for reporting and analytics.
• Translate procurement business logic into robust, tested pipeline code.
• Develop data models within our data mart architecture and suggest improvements.
• Contribute to semantic layer and ensure consistent metrics definitions.
• Maintain boundary between PII and reporting-safe data.
• Build and maintain FastAPI services exposing reporting marts.
• Ingest data via Airbyte, OneSchema, and S3 into the warehouse.
• Implement data quality checks and alerting.
• Document lineage and guardrails for analytics data.
