Bridgenext is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms supporting analytics and reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams while working within CST business hours in Latin America, with on-call rotation for high-priority incidents.

The role emphasizes building robust data models, CI/CD for data workflows, and ensuring data quality and governance.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience designing and developing modern ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, automate, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain dbt models, data transformations, and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Design and implement dimensional data models using Kimball methodology, star schema, and modern data warehousing best practices.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows.
• Optimize SQL queries and data warehouse performance to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Monitor data pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Implement automated testing and validation to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Follow data security, governance, and compliance best practices, ensuring adherence to Master Data Management (MDM) standards.
• Follow established controls to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data across upstream and downstream systems.
• Participate in code reviews and promote coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Communicate technical progress, risks, issues, and solutions effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
