Job summary

Talan Spain is seeking a Data Analyst / Power BI Developer to join an Agile squad and transform business requirements into data-driven reporting solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports, work with stakeholders, validate data quality, and support end users during UAT and data validation.

The role involves collaborating with business and technical teams, building data models, and ensuring reporting requirements are met in an international project environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Experience building enterprise-level dashboards and reports.
• Strong data analysis and data validation skills.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Intermediate knowledge of PL/SQL.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Experience interacting with business stakeholders and supporting final report validation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements from assigned user stories.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Create and optimize data models, measures, and visualizations.
• Validate data quality, consistency, and accuracy across reporting solutions.
• Troubleshoot and investigate data-related issues.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to ensure reporting requirements are met.
• Support end users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and final data validation activities.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Document reporting solutions, business rules, and technical developments.
