U.S. Construction is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with strong site design and drafting skills for a remote role. The position covers grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater design, earthwork calculations, and construction plan preparation.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years experience in civil engineering with a focus on site design, building plans, and coordination with U.S. Contractors.
• Demonstrated experience with grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; Civil 3D experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HydroCAD, StormCAD, or similar software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of U.S. engineering standards and construction practices.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare civil site plans for self-storage, industrial, and multifamily projects.
• Develop grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater, and utility plans from boundary surveys and topographic maps
• Perform drainage, detention/retention, and cut-and-fill calculations.
• Apply value-engineering principles to reduce sitework and construction costs.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and assist with project estimating.
• Create floor plans, building layouts, elevations, and basic renderings for mixed units in both self-storage and industrial projects.
• Assist with contractor bidding, bid comparisons, permitting, and project coordination.
• Provide schedule updates and support multiple active projects.
