Basta & Company is seeking a sharp, dependable bookkeeper based in Argentina to support our U.S. client work. This is a fully remote, full-time independent contractor role requiring 40 hours per week and overlap with U.S. Pacific Time (10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Argentina time). You will work with our U.S.-based team in English on QuickBooks Online bookkeeping tasks. Compensation ranges from $1,500 to $2,100 USD per month, with performance-based increases and long-term growth opportunities.

Formación

• At least 2 years of hands-on QuickBooks Online bookkeeping experience.
• Strong understanding of bank reconciliations, debits and credits, and financial statements.
• Clear spoken and written English; comfortable communicating with a U.S. team.

Responsabilidades

• Complete day-to-day bookkeeping and month-end close work for U.S. clients.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and clearing accounts.
• Review and accurately code transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Help maintain clean accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Review P&L and balance sheet reports and flag unusual items.
• Follow up internally when documents or answers are missing.
• Track work and client requests in Karbon and Keeper; training provided on these tools.
• Work closely with our U.S.-based team in English.

Basta & Company is a growing, cloud-based CPA and fractional CFO firm serving construction, real estate, and other owner-operated businesses across the United States.

We’re looking for a sharp, dependable bookkeeper in Argentina to support our U.S. client work. This is not a data-entry position. You need to understand the books, notice when something doesn’t make sense, and communicate clearly with our team.

The Role

• Full-time independent contractor
• 40 hours per week
• Must overlap with U.S. Pacific Time, generally 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Argentina time; schedule may adjust for daylight savings
• Fully remote, Argentina only
• Compensation: $1,500–$2,100 USD per month, based on experience, English communication, and QuickBooks Online skills
• Performance-based increases and long-term growth opportunity

What You’ll Do

• Complete day-to-day bookkeeping and month-end close work for U.S. clients

What We Need

• Experience supporting U.S. clients or a U.S. CPA firm is a strong plus
• Reliable high-speed internet, backup internet, and a quiet professional workspace
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
• Comfortable learning new cloud-based accounting tools quickly
