Job summary

Ualá is seeking a remote senior full-stack engineer to join a product studio building workflow software for a live client product. You will work on server-side Azure SQL, APIs, and React/TypeScript screens that sit on top of data models, with an emphasis on correctness and maintainable design.

You will direct AI coding tools, review diffs, and decide what merges are acceptable. You’ll own an area end-to-end (such as the task engine or migrations) and collaborate with the lead developer and

Qualifications

4+ years building full-stack web applications and releasing them to production.
Experience working in a codebase you didn't write and learning its conventions.
Hands-on work on workflow software with approvals, task queues, or state machines and an audit log.

Responsibilities

Build and deliver four to five features per two-week sprint with tests.
Review diffs line-by-line and guide AI-generated specs and migrations.
Own one area end-to-end (e.g., task engine or legacy migrations) without breaking live features.
Collaborate with lead developer and product manager to meet acceptance criteria.
Maintain code quality and production readiness in a remote, AI-assisted workflow environment.
