Job summary

Outlier is seeking a QA Coder to audit AI-generated code and rate model responses from anywhere in the Americas. This is a freelance, remote 1099 opportunity with variable rates and incentives. Core work pays up to 34 USD/hr, plus incentive payments based on missions and surge pricing.

You will review code, score outputs, and craft CS prompts to challenge AI models. No AI experience required, but strong CS background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase for a tech company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: read code produced by AI models and flag issues using guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions to improve outputs.
• Write clear CS questions to challenge AI models and advance coding capabilities.
