Outlier is seeking a QA Coder to review AI-generated code, rate model responses, and craft clear computer science prompts. You will contribute to training AI models by providing structured feedback and scoring across multiple quality dimensions.

The role is remote, open to Latin America, and offered as a freelance 1099 contract with pay up to $34 USD/hr plus incentives. Strong English communication and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across accuracy, instruction following, and presentation dimensions.
• Write computer science questions and prompts to challenge AI models and push coding capabilities.
