Job summary

Outlier is seeking QA Coders to review AI-generated code and assess model outputs. This remote role offers up to $34/hr with dedicated support and opportunities to earn additional incentives through Missions.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, have software engineering experience, and can communicate fluently in English. Applicants from eligible Latin American countries are encouraged to apply on a freelance 1099 basis.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Experience contributing to a live production codebase at a technology company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation and style.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: read code produced by AI models and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues.
• Rate and rank model responses: score responses on accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write computer science questions: develop clear prompts to challenge AI models.
