Job summary

LeanTeams is a remote product studio hiring a full-time contractor to build workflow features for a live product. You will own end-to-end areas and work alongside the lead developer and product manager, with AI-assisted specs and migrations entering the codebase.

You’ll deliver four to five features every two-week sprint, maintain code quality, and collaborate across SQL on Azure, React/TypeScript UI, and CI tests. Core hours align with US time zones, and the role is fully remote from LATAM.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building full-stack web applications and releasing them to production.
• Experience working in a codebase you didn't write, learning its conventions before changing it.
• Hands-on work on workflow software where different user roles see different data, with approvals, task queues or state machines and an audit log or versioned history.
• React, TypeScript and SQL on Azure, including schema design and migrations.
• Daily use of Cursor, Claude Code or a similar AI coding tool on production work, with tests and CI behind it.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Experience delivering in fixed-scope sprints with branches, code review and feature flags.

Responsibilities

• Build features for a live product; server side focused (Azure) and UI in React/TS.
• Review AI-drafted specs/tests/migrations; guide merges and line-by-line review.
• If you prefer writing most code by hand, this seat may not be right for you.
• Report to leadership and work with lead developer and product manager; align on acceptance criteria.
• Deliver 4–5 features per sprint and own one area end-to-end without breaking live features.
