Job summary

World Business Lenders, Llc is a remote product studio building MVPs and custom software for startups. You’ll join the team to add new workflow features to a live product, while existing features keep running, with server-side focus from Azure SQL up through the API and UI in React/TypeScript.

This contractor role emphasizes AI-assisted coding, code reviews, and delivering four to five features every two weeks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building full-stack web apps and releasing them to production.
• Experience working in a codebase you didn't write, learning its conventions before changing it.
• Hands-on work on workflow software where different user roles see different data, with approvals, task queues or state machines and an audit log or versioned history.
• React, TypeScript and SQL on Azure, including schema design and migrations.
• Daily use of Cursor, Claude Code or a similar AI coding tool on production work, with tests and CI behind it.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Experience delivering in fixed-scope sprints with branches, code review and feature flags.

Responsibilities

• Build new workflow features for a live product while existing ones run.
• Work in a shared repo with client engineers and the studio team.
• Contribute server-side from Azure SQL up through the API and build React/TypeScript UI.
• Direct AI tools, review diffs, and decide on merges.
• Deliver 4–5 features every two-week sprint and own an area end to end without breaking a live feature.
