Job summary

Hire Hangar, Inc. seeks a senior full-stack engineer to join a remote team building workflow software for a live product. You will own end-to-end areas, implement server-side changes from Azure SQL up through the API, and craft React/TypeScript screens.

AI coding tools will draft specs, tests, and migrations under your direction, with four to five features delivered every two weeks. You will collaborate with the lead developer and product manager, work in a fixed-scope sprint setup, and overlap

Qualifications

• 4+ years building full-stack web apps with production releases.
• Experience joining an existing codebase and learning its conventions quickly.
• Hands-on with workflow software featuring approvals, queues or state machines and audit/history.
• Proficient with React, TypeScript and Azure SQL; able to design schemas and migrations.
• Daily use of AI coding tools for production work with tests and CI.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Experience delivering fixed-scope sprints with branches, code review and feature flags.

Responsibilities

• Build new workflow features for a live product while existing features run uninterrupted.
• Own end-to-end areas (e.g., task engine or legacy migration) without breaking live features.
• Contribute SQL server-side work from database up through the API, and develop React/TypeScript screens.
• Review and guide AI-generated code, ensuring changes meet acceptance criteria for each sprint.
