Job summary

Hire Hangar is hiring an AI Data Integration Engineer (RCM Systems) for a remote role. You will migrate legacy RCM platforms to a new central platform, building data models, mappings, and ETL pipelines, while employing AI/LLM tools to accelerate schema mapping and data quality checks.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data integration, strong SQL and Python/JavaScript skills, and experience with REST/SOAP APIs, HL7/FHIR knowledge, HIPAA security, and remote collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data/system integration or ETL engineering with legacy systems.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM APIs for schema mapping or data quality checks.
• Strong SQL skills and relational database experience.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript; experience building REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with JSON, XML, CSV, flat-files and EDI formats.
• Understanding of HIPAA and PHI security practices.
• Strong written and spoken English and remote-work proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build data models and source-to-target mappings from PM systems to the new platform.
• Use AI/LLM tools to speed up schema mapping and data quality checks.
• Design and build ETL pipelines and REST/SOAP APIs to move data.
• Cleanse, structure and enrich source data for the target format.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues in production.
• Collaborate with AI Architect, product, engineering and operations teams.
• Document data models, mapping specs and pipeline configurations.
