Job summary

Prolific is a remote product studio building MVPs and custom software for startups and companies. You will join the team delivering new workflow features while keeping existing ones running, focusing on server-side work from Azure SQL to API, and building front-end React/TypeScript screens.

With AI coding tools drafting specs, tests and migrations, you direct them and review every diff. You will work with the lead developer and product manager to hit four to five features per sprint and own a

Qualifications

• 4+ years building full-stack web applications and releasing to production.
• Experience working in a codebase you didn't write, learning its conventions.
• Hands-on work on workflow software with roles, approvals, queues or state machines and audit/history.
• React, TypeScript and SQL on Azure, including schema design and migrations.
• Daily use of AI coding tools on production work with tests and CI.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Experience delivering in fixed-scope sprints with branches, code review and feature flags.

Responsibilities

• Build new workflow features next to existing code in a live product.
• Work server-side from the SQL database on Azure up through the API, and also build React/TypeScript screens.
• Direct AI tools, review diffs line-by-line, and decide what to merge.
• Deliver four to five features per two-week sprint and own one area end-to-end without breaking a live feature.
