Job summary

S. C. Johnson & Son, Inc. is seeking a fluent English-speaking Accounts Payable professional to join the LATAM Shared Service Center in a full-time, fixed-term role. You will review invoices, resolve exceptions, and ensure timely payment while maintaining strong controls.

The role requires a background in accounting/finance and at least 1 year in AP or related fields, with familiarity in SAP FI and automation tools preferred. Remote work one day per week after three months is available.

Qualifications

• Advanced student or graduate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, Accounting, Shared Services, or a related field.
• Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and documents, reviewing appropriate documentation, approvals, purchase order information, tax requirements, and accounting details.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve invoice exceptions, blocked invoices, duplicate invoices, and other processing issues.
• Generate reports and monitor and contribute to Accounts Payable KPIs, including invoice processing timeliness.
• Identify recurring issues and implement opportunities to simplify, standardize, and/or automate Accounts Payable processes.
• Ensure Accounts Payable activities are performed in compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable procedures, maintaining accurate and complete supporting documentation for transactions.
• Deliver activities according to agreed SLAs and operational targets, prioritizing critical invoices, supplier issues, and payment-related activities to ensure timely resolution.
• Share best practices and contribute to team knowledge, process documentation, and continuous improvement.
