SC Johnson GmbH is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to join the LATAM Shared Services Center. The role ensures accurate, timely processing of invoices, adherence to country requirements, and proactive issue resolution.

The ideal candidate is an advanced student or graduate in accounting-related fields with at least 1 year in AP, and solid English skills. The role includes weekly remote flexibility after three months and a fixed-term contract with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Advanced student or graduate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, Accounting, Shared Services, or a related field.
• Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and documents, reviewing documentation, approvals, PO info, tax requirements, and accounting details.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve invoice exceptions, blocked invoices, duplicates, and other issues.
• Generate reports and monitor Accounts Payable KPIs, including processing timeliness.
• Identify recurring issues and implement opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate AP processes.
• Ensure AP activities comply with policies, controls, and procedures, maintaining supporting documentation.
• Deliver activities according to SLAs and targets, prioritizing critical invoices and payments.
• Share best practices and contribute to team knowledge and process documentation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The person joining this role will be part of the Accounts Payable team within the LATAM Shared Service Center. The role contributes to an efficient and reliable Accounts Payable operation by ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time in accordance with each country’s legal requirements, issues are resolved proactively, and Accounts Payable processes continuously improve while maintaining strong controls and a high level of customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process supplier invoices and documents, reviewing appropriate documentation, approvals, purchase order information, tax requirements, and accounting details.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve invoice exceptions, blocked invoices, duplicate invoices, and other processing issues.
• Generate reports and monitor and contribute to Accounts Payable KPIs, including invoice processing timeliness.
• Identify recurring issues and implement opportunities to simplify, standardize, and/or automate Accounts Payable processes.
• Ensure Accounts Payable activities are performed in compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable procedures, maintaining accurate and complete supporting documentation for transactions.
• Deliver activities according to agreed SLAs and operational targets, prioritizing critical invoices, supplier issues, and payment-related activities to ensure timely resolution.
• Share best practices and contribute to team knowledge, process documentation, and continuous improvement.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

• Advanced student or graduate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, Accounting, Shared Services, or a related field.
• Intermediate or advanced English proficiency
