Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC in Buenos Aires, Argentina, seeks a Counsel to document the company’s material legal obligations and monitor regulatory changes across Latin America. You will work with a global team of lawyers, project managers, and professionals with strong regulatory awareness.

You will advise the Legal Department, compliance, controls, and business partners in a fast-paced environment, applying strong analytical, communication, and collaborative skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in one of the jurisdictions Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, or Mexico and 2–3 years’ experience.
• English fluency (written and spoken) is a must.
• Background in financial services regulation or a highly regulated business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an inventory of legal obligations for JPMorgan Chase’s Latin American businesses.
• Monitor and document changes in legal and regulatory developments in Latin America.
• Research and analyze laws and regulations for applicability and impact on JPMorgan Chase.
• Support policy, procedure, and control development and collaboration with technology partners.
