Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist for the LATAM region, based in Mendoza or Santiago. You will manage software licensing across a large, multi-publisher portfolio, interpret terms, renewals and entitlements, and drive cost optimization while ensuring compliance.

You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering to support licensing decisions, audits and reporting, thriving in a high-volume environment with tight timelines and cross-regional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, software licensing, or IT Asset Management with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Practical experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or software audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize time-sensitive requirements, and adapt between publishers.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to process improvements.
