Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist for a Regional LAC role. The candidate will manage software licensing across a large, diverse portfolio and coordinate with IT, Procurement, Finance and engineering teams to ensure compliance and optimization.

The role requires hands-on licensing knowledge, high attention to detail and the ability to move quickly between publishers and requests in a high‑volume environment. English and Spanish proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience with software licensing and IT Asset Management.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization and compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to licensing details.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across full lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain license asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high‑volume environment while improving SAM processes.
