Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Recruiter and Personnel Selection role based in Iquitos, Peru. The recruiter will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job postings, sourcing candidates through various channels, screening resumes, and conducting initial interviews. The role involves coordinating interview schedules with hiring managers, administering assessments, and supporting decision‑making in candidate selection. The recruiter will maintain accurate candidate records, provide timely communication and feedback to applicants, and ensure a positive candidate experience. In addition, the role includes collaborating with internal stakeholders on workforce planning, contributing to employer branding initiatives, and supporting continuous improvement of recruitment policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in recruitment and personnel selection, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate evaluation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain effective relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of HR practices, employment regulations in Peru, and best practices in talent acquisition and onboarding.
• Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Comfort with using applicant tracking systems, HR databases, and common digital tools for recruitment and reporting.
• Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret role requirements, assess competencies, and support data-informed hiring decisions.
• Commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive hiring practices and a strong alignment with people-centered organizational values.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in Spanish required; basic to intermediate English skills are an advantage.
