Job summary

Howard is seeking a Recruiter Analyst to grow quickly, supporting accounting/finance hiring across verticals. You’ll own proactive sourcing, screening, and interview coordination with US-based teams, while keeping the ATS clean and reporting on pipeline metrics.

You’ll also support People Ops and contribute ideas to improve recruitment and processes, all in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. This 100% remote contractor role emphasizes independence, ownership, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or related People role.
• Excellent English (written & spoken) for US-based collaboration.
• Proactive, hands-on, ownership-driven attitude.
• High energy, drive and enthusiasm for learning.
• Strong organization and attention to detail; comfortable with fast pace.
• Nice to have: experience recruiting accounting/finance profiles or using an ATS.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean searches, and outreach.
• Screen candidates and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Keep our ATS clean, updated, and reliable.
• Write and publish job postings and outreach messages.
• Track pipeline metrics and help build team reports.
• Support People Ops; draft letters, internal communications, and be a People contact.
• Bring ideas to improve recruitment processes and how we work.

The role

We're looking for a Recruiter Analyst who wants to grow fast. You'll work mainly on recruiting, supporting hiring for accounting and finance roles across our verticals, and you'll also get involved in broader People projects. If you're curious about the full People function and not just recruiting, this is your place.

This is not a role where you wait for instructions. We need someone proactive, hungry, and willing to get their hands dirty: someone who sees a problem and takes it on.

What you'll do

• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean searches, and creative outreach
• Screen candidates and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
• Keep our ATS clean, updated, and reliable
• Write and publish job postings and outreach messages
• Track pipeline metrics and help build reports for the team
• Support People Ops as a secondary focus (recruiting always comes first): drafting work letters, preparing internal communications, and acting as a point of contact for team members' People questions
• Bring ideas to improve how we recruit and how we work

What we're looking for

• Excellent English, written and spoken: you'll work daily with US-based teams and clients
