Clarika Software and Innovation in Argentina seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web and API testing. You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders across the development lifecycle to ensure high-quality releases.

The role requires hands-on experience with modern automation tools and programming languages, a quality-first mindset, and strong communication in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Formación

• 5+ years in Quality Engineering.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar tools.
• Proficient in JavaScript/Java/Python/C#.
• Strong API testing using Postman or similar.
• Experience testing modern web applications.
• Quality-first mindset.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks
• Build and execute automated test suites for web applications and APIs
• Partner closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
• Perform functional, non-functional, exploratory, integration, and regression testing
• Automate API testing using tools such as Postman
• Support release management and quality validation activities
• Identify defects, investigate root causes, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues
• Promote quality best practices across the organization
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency, automation coverage, documentation, and quality processes

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
• Strong experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, or similar automation tools
• Experience with JavaScript (preferred), Java, Python, or C#
• Strong API testing experience using Postman or similar tools
• Experience testing modern web applications
• Quality-first mindset
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

AI-Assisted Development & Testing Experience

You should have practical experience using tools such as:

• Claude Code

We are looking for professionals who have used AI tools to support automation development, test generation, debugging, documentation, quality analysis, or engineering productivity.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience testing React applications
• Node.js application testing experience
• Performance testing with JMeter
• Cloud experience (Azure preferred)
• SQL/MySQL knowledge
• Ticketing, SaaS, or e-commerce platform experience
• Experience supporting modernization or platform migration initiatives
