Bluelight is seeking an experienced project manager to lead complex software development initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage fixed external deadlines, and ensure on-time delivery across multiple workstreams, while maintaining client satisfaction.

You will oversee scope, budget, resourcing, risk management, and vendor dependencies, report status to executives, and overlap US business hours.

• 5+ years of experience managing software development projects.
• Experience delivering against fixed external deadlines with risk and change control.
• Experience with client dependencies, budgets, and multi-stream resourcing.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendors and contracts.
• Strong stakeholder management and translating technical concepts for non-technical clients.
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and reporting status.
• Proficiency with Jira/Asana or similar PM tools.
• Bachelor's degree required; PMP/CSM/PSM is a plus.
• Extreme ownership and accountability for deliverables.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects
• Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows) with critical-path and buffer management
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams
• Ability to overlap US business hours
