Bluelight Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead software development initiatives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You will coordinate multi-stream projects, align stakeholders, and ensure on-time delivery while managing budgets and risks.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience, strong Agile/Scrum background, and proficiency with Jira or Asana. Fluency in English and ability to work across LATAM/U.S. time zones are a plus.

• Experience delivering against fixed external deadlines with critical-path and buffer management.
• Experience managing a client dependency register with due dates, owners, escalation paths.
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes.
• Experience managing scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple workstreams.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, timelines).
• Experience leading Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing reporting.
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, or similar).
• Strong stakeholder management translating technical concepts for non-technical clients/executives.
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies.
• Background with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects
• Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows) with critical-path and buffer management
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams
• Ability to overlap US business hours
