Job summary

Simmons First National Corporation is seeking an analyst to support costing analytics. You will work with the Manager of Loan Pricing Analytics and Cost Manager to analyze costs, expenses, and how they affect profitability across accounts, products, and customers.

The role focuses on developing expense allocations, implementing costing software, and building unit costing for profitability models. You will produce ad-hoc analyses and reporting to drive strategic decisions in a banking environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of banking costing, profitability, or management accounting experience.
• Strong Excel and Power BI dashboard experience.
• Ability to query data from data warehouse environments.
• Understanding of cost allocation methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer shared service expense allocations to revenue lines.
• Implement, support and maintain costing software.
• Develop unit costing to support the profitability system.
• Incorporate unit costing into the Relationship Profitability Model.
• Analyze and report allocation impacts on profitability.
• Ad-hoc expense analyses and reporting for various data slices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
