Job summary

Lincoln School in Buenos Aires is seeking a full-time Procurement & Purchasing Supervisor to join our team. The role coordinates day-to-day procurement operations, manages supplier relationships, and drives process improvements to ensure timely, cost-effective acquisitions for our school.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years in procurement or logistics, and experience with ERP systems and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or logistics.
• Experience with ERP systems and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate local and international procurement and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Review and process purchase requests in compliance with established procedures.
• Monitor purchasing activities to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, documentation, inventory, and administrative information.
• Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships.
• Source and evaluate vendors and negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms ethically.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Leverage technology and automation to improve procurement processes.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Analyze purchasing trends, spend, and supplier performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and internal service.
• Coordinate the procurement team and provide guidance, coaching, and day-to-day supervision.
• Partner with internal departments to understand and respond to procurement needs.
• Provide effective internal customer service.
• Support budget planning and expenditure monitoring.
• Manage petty cash and financial controls in accordance with policies.
• Prepare financial reports and documentation as required.
• Demonstrate integrity, transparency, and accountability.
• Promote collaboration and a positive team culture.
• Stay informed about market trends, supplier innovations, and procurement best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, technology initiatives, school-wide projects, and operational excellence.
