Job summary

Greif Packaging, a global leader in performance packaging, seeks a Purchaser in Argentina to manage indirect material sourcing and supplier relations. You will administer purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure compliance with Greif policies while optimizing total cost of ownership.

With 2–4 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, you will negotiate terms, monitor supplier performance, and collaborate with sourcing, accounts payable, and facilities teams to keep operations

Qualifications

• Typically possesses a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with internal and external partners.
• Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Identify sourcing initiatives and evaluate suppliers based on quality and total cost of ownership.
• Participate in annual supplier performance evaluations.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to optimize total cost of ownership.
• Administer purchase orders for Indirect Material and Services.
• Monitor timely receipts and coordinate deliveries with suppliers.
• Ensure purchasing complies with Greif policies and local laws.
• Provide KPI updates and collaborate with sourcing, accounts payable, and facilities.
