Job summary

Greif, Inc. is seeking a procurement professional in Argentina to drive strategic sourcing for indirect materials and services. You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage purchase orders to achieve cost efficiency and reliable delivery.

You will collaborate with plant teams and finance to ensure compliance with policies and timely invoicing, while supporting continuous improvements and KPI reporting. A Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify sourcing initiatives and evaluate suppliers based on quality and total cost of ownership.
• Participate in supplier performance evaluations yearly.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to minimize total cost of ownership.
• Process purchase orders for Indirect Material and Services.
• Monitor deliveries and ensure timely receipt of materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Ensure purchasing complies with Greif policies and local laws.
• Raise SCARs when supplier performance issues are identified.
