Die Position

As a Portfolio Lead Molecular, you will be fully empowered to design and implement the business, marketing, and portfolio strategies for the Molecular customer area. In this role, you will act as the single point of contact (SPOC) internally and externally for molecular portfolio and disease management topics, driving market development, co-creating strategic commercial models, and maximizing value for customers and patients while ensuring business sustainability and alignment with DIA strategy.

The Opportunity

• Establish and implement the overall portfolio and market development strategies for Molecular, prioritizing high-impact initiatives aligned with customer, patient, and business needs.

• Drive portfolio positioning and disease management strategies in close collaboration with Market Access, Medical, Business Development, Sales, and key external stakeholders (KOLs/HCPs).

• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans, business cases, digital strategies, and launch, phase-in, or phase-out plans across the product commercial lifecycle.

• Manage the full commercial lifecycle of molecular products, ensuring optimal product mix, pricing positioning, and portfolio profitability.

• Foster a OneRoche approach across portfolios and with Pharma, co-creating strategic account plans alongside the sales team.

• Act as the internal and external SPOC for molecular portfolio, product, and launch topics, participating in regional or global disease management initiatives.

• Lead Disease Area squads (acting as Product Owner where applicable) and build strong external connection points to integrate market voice into portfolio strategies.

Who you are

• University degree in Health Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Medicine, or related fields); a post-graduate degree in business or an MBA is highly desirable.

• Experience in marketing or business development, preferably within the Diagnostic (IVD) market and with knowledge of South American health systems.

• Deep technical and clinical understanding of molecular products, pathologies, and competitive landscapes in the region.

• Strategic vision and strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Suite, Office, CRM, and Agile tools (Miro, Jamboard, etc.).

• Upper-intermediate English command (written and spoken) along with excellent communication skills, ability to influence healthcare decision-makers, and willingness to travel.
